Enthusiasm

Enthusiasm

origin

Greek: en- + theos:

A belief in special revelations of the Holy Spirit.

“Reciprocity”

If you make the effort to enthuse your students, they will in turn enthuse you.

“Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.”

Abraham Lincoln

“Like what you do.”

Paul Harvey

Enthusiasm:

     Begins with an interest.

     Is maintained by discipline.

You will not motivate others to invest themselves in something that does not consistently enthuse you.

“Like what you do,” or “Do what you like.”

One is irresistible, the other irresponsible.

· Enthusiasm encourages students to learn.

· Enthusiasm is contagious.

· The flame of enthusiasm will ignite everything around it.
