"Attention Deficit"

A syndrome characterized by serious and persistent difficulties in the following 3 specific areas:

  1. Attention span
  2. Impulse control
  3. Hyperactivity (sometimes)

Are we guilty

of Not giving our

Sunday School class

the ATTENTION

it requires?

"...And thou shalt teach them  diligently unto thy children,..."

It is conservatively

estimated that 3-5%

of our school-age population

is affected by ADD.

Pray for & with them.

Prepare well for class.

Be sensitive to individual spiritual needs.

Set a good example

Give them your Time & Attention

Be consistent

Many of our Sunday School children have been diagnosed with ADD, or the parents have told us that their child is hyperactive.

of attention deficit

  • Delinquent/Absentee Dads

  • Single working Mothers

  • Fighting Parents

  • No Family Dinner manners expected

  • Video-Game/T. V. Baby-sitters

  • Lack of household routine/order

  • Lack of discipline & accountability

  • Little or no spiritual example/leadership
