Appearance

The sense, impression, or aspect of something.

We are the book the world will judge by its cover.

"Abstain from all appearance of evil."

1 Thes.5:22

Truth or a Truism?

    "You can’t judge a book by its cover."

    "God looks on the inside, not the outside."

    "You shouldn’t judge."

    "It’s what's inside that counts."

    "If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. it must be a duck."

    "Appearances can be deceiving."

 "Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation."      Heb 13:7

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."                   Rom 12:2

We need to be sure that we do not appear to be in agreement with the world and the devil.
