STANDARDS

Something established by authority, custom, or general consent as a model or example.

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,"

Heb. 12:1

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Phil. 3:14

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

Prov. 4:23

Everyone has some kind of standards.

Excellence has standards and demands the highest.

Mediocrity has standards, but does not demand them.

Reprobation has no standards, and refuses them.

Our standards reflect where we place our values.

The question is: What personal standards are we maintaining?

In the light of God’s Word, as Christians, what standards should we maintain...

    In our personal life?

    In our families?

    In our Church

In our Ministry? (S. S. class, Choir, Usher)

    In our job?

    In our social life?

    In our leisure time?

    In our time with God?
