Faith

FAITH
Firm belief in something for which there is no proof.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." - Heb 11:6

If your faith was on trial, would there be sufficient evidence to find you guilty?

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not  seen." - Heb 11:1

  • A trial of our faith always brings us to the point of faith.

  • Trials not handled in faith are bound to be repeated.

  • Doubt is a dead-end in the journey of faith.

  • Our faith is judged by every aspect of what we do.

  • Strong faith requires a strong relationship.

  • The strength of our faith reveals the depth of our relationship.

"To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible."

Thomas Aquinas

"Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading.”

Oswald Chambers

“...for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.”

Paul

“When we retreat in the face of sacrifice, we have just found the limit of our faith.”

"Margaret, are we saved from eternal damnation by the saving power of Jesus’ blood, or not?”
