Enchantment

A fascination for, or a feeling of great liking for something wonderful and unusual.

"There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch," Deut 18:10 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Romans 12:2

"...His delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night." Psalm 1:2

Bible’s View of Enchantment

Negative/Evil

  • witchcraft
  • sorcery
  • bewitch
  • divination

These are the words the Bible uses in reference to singing or speaking influential words "into" another for the purpose of control.

Believer’s Should Practice:

Positive/Good

  • Meditation Day & Night
  • Delight in The Word
  • Renewing of the Mind
  • Spirit Filled

These are the practices required for God’s Word to influence and change man’s spirit and soul.

Enchantment and meditation are both capable of influence.

Attitudes and actions reveal the source of our influence.
