CHANGE

To make different, or replace with another.

"...meddle not with them that are given to change:  For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?” 

Prov 24:21-22

Comfort & Satisfaction

do not provoke change.

Positive & Negative

influences shift values,

provoking change.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."    Rom 12:2

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Heb 13:8

Jesus is not a fundamentalist, He is the fundamental.

He is the standard by which we measure our lives.

The inability to change makes our lives incomplete.

BUT

A life given to change makes it ineffective.

"That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine..."

Eph 4:14

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,   Rm. 8:29a

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:" Phil 2:5
